Welcome to our new blog for Black River Paddle Co. We’d like to use this blog to keep you updated on the progress of getting the company off the ground, share our slice of Black River, and get some feedback on what styles of paddle you absolutely love. In the next couple of posts I’ll review a little bit of the history of Black River Paddle Co., the sustainably harvested wood used in our paddles, shop status, and finally a guided tour of how we craft a tiny piece of Black River into a beautiful handfinished paddle.
